All I see is a bunch of busy-bodies interested in telling everyone else around them how to live their lives.
How often a day, on an average day, do you feel such resentment toward the USG?

Hey, if you feel that people like Hillary, Sanders and Trump know better than you do about what's best for you, and have your best interests in mind, then, well, good on ya.

Count me as someone that is very....sympathetic to the European right-wing cause. As slappy pointed out, these national identities have gone back centuries--and in the last 25-30 years, they have been transformed significantly. Look at the backlash against Merkel in Germany, the deep-seated resentment against Arab/African immigration in the UK, etc. Europe is going to be very interesting to watch over the coming decades. It would not surprise me to see a continued resurgence of right-wing (mainly in terms of immigration/culture) politics.

Like banning the niqab, for example.

I'm more than sympathetic.

I understand that western powers are largely at fault for these people having to leave their homes but at the same time these are disgusting cultures.

2 out of 3 Pakistani adult males think that it's okay to rape an adolescent boy

That's just one difference in how these people think.

I'm sorry but you can't just let people out of the dark ages into modern society

Predominantly German (father's side) and Welsh.

Of course, nationality-wise, red-blooded American. ;)

IMO, Cruz is in the driver's seat for the GOP nomination.

Trump or Cruz would both give Hillary the nod IMO. While those guys are beloved on the right wing airwaves, they aren't well liked by the Party establishment. I know that money is not an issue because those guys will still be able to get plenty of money from wealthy donors, but there are regional power brokers that I think have more control on the ground game in their areas that won't operate as well for candidates that they don't like.

I read a lot about the 72 election last year, McGovern was loved by the left of his party, but wasn't considered an establishment guy and the party never got behind him strongly, and he got trounced by Nixon. I'm guessing the Goldwater election was like that too.

I loved watching James "Jimmy" McMillan III when I lived in NY!!!
He's a former stripper, Vietnam vet who considers "Deep Throat" his favorite film. Oh yeah, he's also a Registered Republican.
