Honestly, if you miss the toilet, you're either drunk and passed out or just bad at making it easy on yourself.

Give me the cold over the stomach flu any day, I find vomiting to be one the most unpleasant experiences in the world. Luckily I'm hardly ever sick and have a non-alcohol related vomit streak that would rival Jerry Seinfeld's.

but what about 12 hours? An entire week of no taste and being worn down compared to one day.
Depends. If it's both barfin' and poopin' then I think I'd take the cold. If it's just 12 hours of riding the porcelain, then I think I'd take that, because that's mostly just an opportunity to catch up on my reading.

I have discovered that in my bathroom I can be sitting on the toilet and still easily reach to barf in the sink.

If someone in the office burns popcorn, they should be fired on the spot.

Also, if someone makes popcorn before 11:30am

A "sitting" stomach bug is much more doable than a kneeling or kneeling/sitting bug. I would take the sitting bug over a week long cold.

It's in our office lease that no one is allowed to 'prepare' fish or popcorn anywhere in the entire building.

The toxic levels of alcohol in your system kills off the stomach flu germs.

I haven't had the stomach flu since I was 10. I throw up the morning after binge drinking regularly.

vomiting is the absolute worst. Actually, I think the lead-up to the vomit is even worse because I feel like trash and I know it's only a matter of time until I puke.

There are definitely times where I've made myself puke just to deal with the nausea.

I can't remember the last time I threw up. Maybe college? 20 years ago? I've survived 2-3 vicious stomach bugs since have kids in elementary school, where my wife is knocked out of commission for 2-3 days, both kids pedialyting and spending significant time in the bathroom. Me? Very minor stomach upset. I guess I have good gut health.
