missing the stomach bug that goes through your house and then getting a cold. I'm pretty sure I'd rather have the stomach bug for 12 hours compared to a week of congestion and sore throat.

For me it's a few reasons.

1) I am a power puker. It's like a fire hose. I burst blood vessels in my face and eyes and I look like a freckled red eye for a few days.
2) The violent releases may only last 12-24 hours but, for me at least, I feel the effects for at least 48 hours.
3) I can function with a cold. I cannot function when I have a stomach bug.

A stomach bug and the expulsion of stomach acid, food, and bile that comes with it makes me feel like I've done an insane ab workout.

If I wanted to feel like that, I would just do the insane ab workout without the vomiting. I'll take the cold, because it's at least manageable.

vomiting is the worst. it smells and makes me feel like ****. Plus, unless you're outside or near a trash can you have to do a **** ton of cleaning.

I always go outside or near a trash can away from my house when I have a stomach bug.
