Yeah probably not everybody's tastes but this makes more sense to me than Brady on Fox. At least Kelce has a personality.

PK Subban has personality. He's not fun to watch.

Anytime I see PK I’m surprised at how dull he is on those shows. Biz does a better job imo.

I guess being loud, obnoxious and more often than not having incorrect opinions is a personality

Agreed. All we heard about during PK's last year or two of his playing career was that he was ready to work in the media and that his personality was what we needed in those otherwise boring studio shows.

And so far it's been... is underwhelming the word I'm looking for?

PK stinks. He adds nothing, but thinks he's someone...he also wants to be an Inside the NBA type, but he's dealing with a square man in Steve Levy or an ass sucker in Buccigross...plus cardboard Messier...

And you didn't answer the question. So should he be fired because he said that? Any other punishment?
The answer to this is yes for a number of people: https://www.hercampus.com/culture/harri ... -petition/

One being a good player and the other being a bad player is unlikely to be a factor

Yeah. There is a reason he refused to go to tryouts or sign with a team. Being awful would've tanked his brand.

I don’t think there’s anything the nfl could or should do. Like, Aaron Rodgers says all sorts of batsh*t crazy stuff. While I cheer for meteors to hit him while he walks down the street, I don’t think the nfl should step in and do anything… and they don’t.

Nothing will or should happen to him, no matter how many, or few, people sign a petition that no one cares about (51000 so far is pretty minor).

I’m not sure what to say to anyone looking for the nfl to be some sort of moral compass when it comes to the players in the league. Ray rice joe mixon Donte stalworth Leonard little did some really bad things and remained employed

No, the punishment should be getting dragged online.

Though it should have been obvious to anyone paying attention, the “keep your politics out of sports” is just a right wing talking point. Does not apply to conservative opinions

Chargers wasted no time and added Butker to their schedule release video.

I’m likely not the demographic but every schedule release social media post I’ve watched has come up well short in the satisfaction department. The Titans tried a reprise of last year’s, which was funny, and that fell on its face.

Plans are forming to fly out to SF (well Santa Clara) for the 49ers/Jets home opener against the Jets on MNF. Still some things to work out but I think I can make it happen.

Yeah Butker is getting the appropriate amount of mockery. I’m sure there are corners of the internet who are giving him their appropriate amount of praise as well. It’ll be forgotten about come week 1. And I agree that it’s hilarious that people think the NFL of all leagues would take any sort of action against this.

What did people want the league to do? If anything wouldn’t it be the team? I suppose if you look at it as an employer/employee relationship they could take the “does not align with the organizations values.” route but even then I highly doubt they care, they just want to win football games… the only way something would get done is if their money gets affected through losing sponsors.

Beats me. I never thought the league should do anything. The most that would (should) happen is exactly what’s happening. But it’s extra funny that anybody thought the NFL would punish him for words when they turn a blind eye to all the other ****.

Now, if he gambled on a game that he wasn’t involved in? That’s a different story.
