Well, yeah. I wasn't saying that trying to launch nuclear waste into space was a good idea. It's a staggering bad idea, both for the risk of failure and for other reasons, such as the fact that nuclear waste is quite dense/heavy, so you would need a massive number of launches (at massive expense) to get rid of it all. The cost would absolutely dwarf the cost of waste reprocessing, for example.
I forget where I read that the majority of nuclear waste is irradiated water. While not dense, it is unusually heavy and would probably be difficult to prepare for the forces a launch into space would require. I don’t think “into the sun” is to be taken literally so much as get it past the massive debris field surrounding earth and let momentum take it away from this planet.

In orbit around the sun would be plausible, IF you absolutely must launch it to space. Into the sun would be way more difficult than it's worth.

Tesla removed all US job openings. My company contracts with them and the guys said internally that Tesla is literally eliminating whole divisions and dumping the work on people that don’t know what they’re supposed to do.

r/cyberstuck has become one of my favorite subreddits. The lengths these fanbois will go to justify purchasing an absolutely garbage product is incredible.

The design, not the glitches. Then again, the design looks like a glitch.

The new one is a treatment that makes the thing quasi-invisible. I don't know if it's a vinyl wrap or just a polished finish, but it sort of mimics the reactive camo of a Yautja.

I've seen this sort of thing on other cars, but other cars aren't flat beveled surfaces. There's a difference between "mirrored finish" and "mirror" imo.

One would think the entire vehicle should be illegal for a variety of reasons, alas....

People have been doing this with Deloreans for years. You polish the grains of the SS down to a flat surface and it leaves a mirror polish, like a butterknife.

That's not less stupid, but it is very much less dangerous than when mated to the flat lines/profile of the Model Why.

Man the Delorean is just an infinitely cooler vehicle. That said, if there ever was a Back to the Future reboot (god forbid), the Cybertruck would be a perfect choice. It's ridiculous, it's already a punchline like the Delorean was in 1985, and besides, the stainless steel construction made the flux disperal... Watch out!

Exactly

The next trailer will show it beating a 911 in a 1/4 mile drag race by only timing 1/8 of a mile.
