Skully, how small of a 'world' is your field? Like, would it be easy to learn you skipped out of the new place quickly, or is it something you could just paper over on your resume?

There's no harm in exploring options, but absent outright shambolic-ness (as opposed to garden variety frustration) I'd be reluctant to make another move so soon.

It’s just funny that it came to me today after a shitty week lol. I’ll take the weekend to mull it over but I’ll probably at least have a conversation with them.

Gotta love it when someone opens up a shared spreadsheet, leaves it open on their PC, and then leaves their office for who knows how long.

one of the doc storage apps we use blocks this (when someone opens a shared doc, others have to wait until it's saved and closed on their machine) which is infinitely annoying. anyone who doesn't use a cloud-based doc editor like google docs in the year of our lord 2024 is an imbecile

O365 web apps are so advanced now that there are fewer reasons to use the full blown apps, yet some people are so accustomed to clicking on a shortcut on the desktop/Start menu that the idea of using the web apps gets shot down too easily. Ask me how I know.

Tell everyone who has author privileges on the sheet to spam his email Slack/Teams so that when he does return he has to clear like 50 messages about how to not be a dick.

We were assigned new eLearning modules at work, and the 8-9 minute videos in each are not skippable.

Can't churn credit cards if you don't have mail service.

Wife is on a management call in the other room, and was just told that their HR department will be changing their tax location from Philadelphia to their local townships, which means an extra $4-5k back into her paychecks every year. That's a little surprising, given how they have refused to sign off on Philly tax refund forms the last two years.
