Slow Horses series 3 started back up. First two episodes out, and new ones out each Friday. Very good so far, and season 4 is on the way soon. I wonder if they film these back to back? It's cool how they have a promo for the following season out after the current season ends.
I believe so, yes.

Yeah, looking forward to jumping into the new season once I have the time. Super solid.

I look forward to continually pumping this show's tires with you as well until someone on the board is like "What's this show? Never heard of it before, looks good" )

If you're a fan of What We Do in the Shadows, which should obviously make you a fan of their sister show, Wellington Paranormal, the two main characters from the latter now have a podcast:

Funny, I just listened to a Smartless podcast with Taika Watiti today, then watched a Bear Grylls Running Wild with Taika’s wife.

Realized after the podcast that I need to check out Jojo Rabbit

I like this answer. Hitting all the second tier A list shows the last few months. Watched Mr Robot. Rolling through 6 feet under. And right now the patriot is one of my favorite things ever. Every now and then i have to pause it so I don't miss anything while I laugh and laugh. And I sing afternoon spray all day long.

Finished up a rewatch of The Office. And by "rewatch" I mean Pilot to Goodbye, Michael then the finale. It's much more enjoyable that way.

Skipping seasons 8 and 9, I missed: boom guy love triangle, Andy as manager, Nellie, Robert California, Erin in Florida, Athlead, Pam's horrible mural and the horrible vandalize plot, Clark, Cathy and her whole storyline. I'm sure I'm missing some other horrible ****. The only thing I missed that I really like is the Asian Jim cold open. Seasons 8 and 9 are truly awful.

From a plot/character standpoint it's pretty ****, yeah.
It's still funny though, very much so at times. Pretty much everything Zach Woods does in that show is gold.

Jim getting Dwight to chase Cathy away is solid.

A local bakery and a local coffee shop are each owned by a pair of friends that grew up together in the area. We buy from both alllllll the time and have developed a bit of a friendship with them through the years.

Anyways, today is the coffee shop owner’s birthday and the bakery owner made her a cake and posted on Instagram a pic. I liked and commented that every time I see a drip decoration like it had I think of Janusz from the great British bake off and I tagged Janusz.

I was very shocked at first to see Janusz like my comment. Afterwards I realized that the bakers are only minor celebrities and social media is super important to their livelihood, so it’s not that surprising. Still neat.

Rewatching The Sopranos. Skipping all of Tony’s dream sequences has been great so far.

Season 8 of the office is bad. Season 9 is largely improved by the lack of Andy, but overall isn't much better. However, I think the finale is excellent and wish there was a better path for getting to it.

One more thing about The Patriot

I keep thinking about the first scene with the bus. And how I thought oh wow ok. I'm hooked. I guess this show will be the kind where there are never any consequences.

I guess because I thought well how could that happen and it not be an insanely big deal. And obviously this main character doesn't seem concerned with the ramifications.

So I keep thinking about that and how well made this is.

Yeah, it really was. Enjoyable on a couple of different levels - spy thriller? dark comedy? etc. So good. I need to clone myself so I have time to watch it again (with Sopranos, West Wing, The Wire, etc...just not enough time lol)

Neither are good, but I didn’t mind the Florida storyline. I thought it was better than the Jim in Philadelphia thing. The British lady is the worst though.
