I hadn't realized the Wankees were sub .500. Baseball is now interesting again.

it’s a memorable season as a Sox fan even when weee not gonna make the playoffs either

I know they’ve owned us for 80 years but we’ve squarely owned the last 20

Idk how I didn't realize this but the Yankees haven't had a losing season since 1992

@MWB B, what went wrong this year for the Yankees?

The Yankees have made a lot of bad decisions that have led to having a lot of injury plagued players. And they haven’t seen a value in having strong lefty bats. Probably time for Cashman to be on his way.

They’ve had kind of the perfect storm of suck this year from their hitters. Some of the injury stuff isn’t surprising. Some was just bad luck. But when you’ve only got four hitters with over 100 games and only two pitchers with 25 starts, that’s not good.

I have to admit the Phillies are a lot of fun to watch right now. They seem like a good group and it's hard to root against them.

I don’t even really care about non-Flyer teams from Philly but it feels difficult for me to root for any team from Philly. I would say the same thing about Boston too…other than their baseball team, of course

You would if you were fan of Pirates in the late 70's, early 80's.

And the Flyers beat up on the Pens in this era.

hahahahahaha Yanks lost to the Nats. 9 losses in a row. Worst streak for them since 1983

it’s annoying when Kornheiser talks about the Nats when they suck but it’ll be cathartic to hear it tomorrow

I have zero problems rooting against any team that Bryce Harper plays on. dude seems like such a pompous ass. (likely why he's a star)

Aren't the Cardinals going to have their first losing season in umpteen years as well? Hate to see it.

The pirates only have 4 hitters with over 100 games and 2 pitchers with 25 starts (the next most is 11). So that's not good?

On another note, I’m very happy for the Orioles. It’s been a long time, how far they go in the playoffs……………………

Not good… regardless of the team.
