Source of the post Pens Related seems to be humming along sti which is what built that place originally. It'll probably just cycle, regs abandon, new people join, become regs, etc.
Our goal was never to replace LGP. Just to provide an alternative.

I never got a direct answer as to why I was banned. About 10 or so of us got a month long banning that summer.

IIRC, that month-long ban was August of 2010 -- and warz never really recovered to its heights beforehand, as so many regulars were in that set. I recall explanations in Chat but not really a clear answer of why. It was more about sending a message than the actual content. A "cooling-off period" so to speak. I honestly don't know why the permaban, that was never shared. I never had a problem with KS, so I never really understood it. Hell, I even sold him tickets to a playoff game one year long ago and no complaints there. And I know any of us who had seen KS in the warz subrealm missed his presence.

I never got a direct answer as to why I was banned. About 10 or so of us got a month long banning that summer. Then after a bad loss to the rangers, I made a comment about how it must not be fun to watch a game with someone. I forget who it was. I'm sure you can find it. I tried to log in around 11 at night and was banned. No one ever responded to my e-mails. I never got so much as a warning after that month long ban. If I had to guess, they looked at the collective "things" I did and decided to ban me to send a message to the other posters. Not to mention all the extra drama stirred up by dagny via chat, text, PMs, etc. I would get texts at midnight, 1 AM EST with her stirring drama on the board.

This was over 3 years ago. If I was going to make my own message board out of vengeance, I would have done it already.

HFBoards, at least the Pens board, is lame and not enough people attend games for me to do my research.

It's nice to be out of the closet and not Matt Cook'd.

HFBoards is awful. After I got perma'd from LGP, I made an account there, made one post, and never posted there again. The layout of hte site is an eyesore.

I don't really do it much anymore; but maybe a few times season I get a craving.

I save it in on the PC in my Regions and Sports data folder.
