Moved here because it feels more appropriate.

We didn't do any rides, but just spent time wandering around reveling in the world building. It's such a bananas awesome place.

When I flashed my Employee badge for retail discounts, the vendor at Dok Endar's was like "We recognize that identification as from this world, but where do you earn your credits?" and I was like "My wife and I live in the desert valley region of Batuu called 'San Fernando'; I earn credits at [my company name]" (I was wearing a branded hoodie, so I pointed at the logo) I felt like a complete schmoe but it was a hoot.

Very pleased that Mrs Tif caught motion blur. lol

As planned after building with a green crystal I got yellow and white kyber crystals to have alternate versions for s**ts and giggles. What I didn't know was that the RFID chip in the crystal actually also changes the sound bank. So the green blade sounds different from the yellow blade which sounds different from the white blade. I didn't know that's how it worked, so that's fun. I need to find a good display option now. The blades are removable, so I just need something to hold the hilt; I saw one knucklehead on YT using a 3M Command Strips broom holder for his $237 lightsaber, and I'm like nothankyou. At some point I'd like to get the newer Ahsoka double saber and display the hilts like katana, I think that'd be cool.

No, I'm definitely more wookie. I'm 6'4 280lbs. And a big dumb animal.

First time we went we saw Rey, Chewie, Artoo, and a bunch of Stormtroopers 'interrogating' tourists. This time we just saw Kylo Ren and a couple Stormtroopers at his First Order ship.

Unless they plan on establishing Obi-Wan as one of the people who saved Grogu from Order 66, I'd say no.
I guess we don't really know how old Grogu is (unless they addressed this in Mando S1 and I've forgotten), but even if he were alive around that time, he wouldn't be a jedi, or likely jedi-adjacent, so I'd assume there'd be no way he was on the radar for that.
Good to see Timothy Olyphant hanging around for next season. Hopefully, he'll have time to film with the forthcoming Justified reboot.
Literally right before that, I said to my roommate "Somehow, Olyphant returned" as a joke, and then, low and behold

In S1E1 Mando is hunting a 50 year old target, which ended up being Grogu.

Grogu and Anakin were both born in 41 BBY, which I don't think is a narrative coincidence. Order 66 was carried out in 19 BBY, making them both in their early 20s when the order was executed, though for Grogu's species that apparently meant he was still developmentally an infant. (And is still just a toddler 25+ years later in the timeline of the D+ shows).

He was probably a fetus at 20.

Remember when he ate those eggs and ya'll were like "no there's a good reason for it" and I was like "nah he's just a dick and hungry." I think I won.

Yup. Although you could take footage from the Holiday Special and put Duel of the Fates over it and I'd be hyped.

When "Duel of the Fates" kicked in, I might have yelled. The Lady Sith, The Grand Inquisitor...holy hell. I may be hearing things, too, but I swear there's a drawn-out Vader respirator breath just after the title card comes up.

That last shot of McGregor got me, though. It was so reminiscent of Alec Guinness to me, it was almost scary. This is going to be great.

Obi Wan must in for a rough 10 years or so. I believe Luke is 19 at the start of ANH. He appears to be anywhere from 8-10 here. So old Ben goes from this:

He bout to see some ****.
