I did Vader Immortal or whatever and it wasn't bad on the Rift. Taking a lot to get used to it on the racing sim though.

Downloaded Destiny 2. Other than the fact that I have no clue what I'm doing or supposed to do, I'm having fun.

You're limited if you're doing the Free to Play portion of the game to the Strikes, Crucible, and Gambit, along with most of the patrol zones.

Though the Forsaken campaign might be free as well right now, so if you have it, I highly suggest playing through it now. When the new expansion comes out in a week and a half, the Tangled Shore and Forsaken campaign are being moved to the content vault (essentially the game has grown to the point where the ever-increasing amount of content causes run issues and old stuff needs to be moved to make room for new things).

The lore in Destiny 2 is pretty amazing. While key moments of the universe are often played out in cut scenes attached to the campaign missions, they attach most of it to lore books whose chapters unlock as you progress through events, or on entries on the spec screens for various armor/weapons/vehicles (look for the "Show Lore" options on the bottom of the screen).

If you need help making some sense of what's going on with the story, there's a YouTube account called My Name is Byf who does an absolutely incredible job outlining almost every element of the story lore. Most of his videos are clipped down to 15-20 minutes but he has some hour-long summaries and even a four-hour clip or two that cover the entire story dating back to Destiny 1.

There are a couple of other YouTube accounts/websites like Paul Tassi and Planet Destiny that do a nice job covering the weekly resets, available weapons & armor from vendors, etc.

Nice! Thank you both! I like the model of free download with enough content to allow you to see whether you'd like to invest in it. Like a demo on steroids. Will definitely check out some of videos.

I played just now and made it to the caves and tapped out. I'll get my groove back eventually. My reflexes are no good anymore....and the whole slide thing when you stop running messes me up.

Don’t be too hard yourself. That game was a dodint in 93. Not “Lion King” hard but still challenging.

Got my replacement Elite 2 tonight. It’s amazing what one week off playing games will do to you, as I was garbage. I figured I would be, so I was playing the solo/controller lobby just to get back into the swing of things.

I'm only a few hours in but Horizon Forbidden West is incredible.

It's like they took the first game which was already a GOTY type game...and said let's just improve it and make it 10x better.

343i reset everyone’s CSR in Halo today. Went through my placement matches again and went from high Platinum 2 to low Gold 3. It’s going to be a rough few weeks as we get pro players matched in our games until they’re finally ranked and out of the lower lobbies.

Just ordered. I know nothing about this game, but it looks awesome and hard so I'll be happy letting my kids play and just watching.
