Sid should be a leader and give Malkin the C. Not joking. If 1,000 aliens landed here from Mars and watched hockey for the first time ever this season and were asked which Penguin has the team on his back, would anyone say Sid?

I definitely agree. This is Malkin's team, not Sid's. I don't see anything that Sid does boosting his teammates in any way. Give that man the damn C.

Like, I'm not complaining that they've scored 3 goals, but if this is the only way to score in the new NHL, **** that noise.

I want snipes. I want legitimate shots going in.

I feel like it's a bad thing that all 3 of the goals have been needed to be scored by banking it off on someone from a bad angle.

Whatever happened to being able to score on a slapshot or wrist shot?

I don't know...I think it's great. The Pens were on the perimeter looking for the pretty shot, I'm happy to see them score the dirty, bad angle goals that other teams seem to get on us. Need to score ugly and lucky as well as pretty.

Yeah, but if that's the only way to score, it doesn't bode well for the future of the league/sport.

It's nothing against you...it's just something the fans/media act like is a big deal when it comes to leadership on the team. All it really does is gives the refs someone they will talk to when they explain their awful calls.
