He'll move on this Summer, when he doesn't get an offer. Then again, are the Penguins really in the position to turn away a F under 25 with talent? We'll see.

As frustrating as this is, I'd hold on to him at least for one more year. He's still only just Monday played his first 100 games. Young and talented. If he is out for just a few games and this doesn't turn into a lingering thing, its worth the risk.

I'd hold on to him too, but there's no way he can demand much with his ridiculous injury history. As long as he comes cheap, I'm fine with another year. He has zero leverage, so it has to be cheap.

His 100th game would have been tonight, but, he's injured.

The horrid stat-line on Bennett: 99 regular season games played; 90 (counting tonight) regular season games missed due to injury.

Just slightly above 50%.....horrendous.

And by comparison: Beau Bennett, 4 seasons of NHL play, 99 games played, 90 games injured.

Joffrey Lupul, 12 seasons of NHL play, 658 games played, 206 games injured.

Coach Johnston on Beau Bennett: "He is injured right now. We will wait and see how he progresses from here." No further details as of now.

So what exactly did he do? I'm starting to wonder if it was an off-day injury and they're holding it back from embarrassment.

It would have to have been, wouldnt it? Was that after the game some of the media guys were saying he was talking about his new trainer or regimen this past summer? I know injuries can creep up after a game or the next day, but didnt seemed like he was completely fine post game. Or else he's faking so he can stay on a high note

Part of me remembers Sprong taking Bennett's spot on the 3rd line late in the Montreal game, but the other part of me can't remember if it was Bennett's spot or Plodnikov's.
