The player addresses the puck and gets contacted within a stride...I'm not sure I would have made that call to be honest...it looks kinda bad, but I don't think I'd make that call...

I thought it was a bad call, too. But at the same time, JSI had little reason to stay in contact. Either way, Ned was getting the puck first... no "real" interference but also no real reason to stay with him.

Yeah I think I agree with this. Only allow reviews if the high stick directly leads to the goal or the offsides happens on a goal scored on that rush.

Nah. The challenge exists because of a super egregious missed offside breakaway goal. If the goal is scored on the rush but the play was offside, then that should be challengeable.

If there’s a missed offside then the puck is cycled and multiple shot attempts happen, maybe even the offensive team makes a change while the puck is still in the zone, then that gets a little silly.

Side note: I’m glad the skate being off the ice rule was changed. Those were ridiculous even if they worked out in the Pens favor multiple times.

How about a double minor for a failed challenge? Or even a major?

Either way, enough is enough. There are too many goals being taken away for plays not directly impacting the outcome.
