I'm not sure losing to a top 5 team after a 7-0-3 run is pissing down their leg...Welp, there's still a chance but once again, this team had their playoff lives in their hands and like last year, they pissed down their leg.
Yeah the meltdown on here is kind of unexpected. This was always going to be a tough game and it’s just unfortunate that we didn’t get any help in the other games.I'm not sure losing to a top 5 team after a 7-0-3 run is pissing down their leg...Welp, there's still a chance but once again, this team had their playoff lives in their hands and like last year, they pissed down their leg.
The way they lost to that top-5 team certainly feels like it.I'm not sure losing to a top 5 team after a 7-0-3 run is pissing down their leg...Welp, there's still a chance but once again, this team had their playoff lives in their hands and like last year, they pissed down their leg.
Who's really melting down? The Pens have been plagued by bad special teams, and bad defense. Both reared their head tonight - but it's not like tonight was the first game it happened during their run.Yeah the meltdown on here is kind of unexpected. No doubt. These games the last week have felt like playoff games and the intensity of those as a fan is pretty fun.I'm just glad they are even in this position, especially for where they were in the standings a month ago
There's a longgggggg line of wishes for this season. Most of them involve not coughing up so many late leads.Wish we didn't have that little pouty stretch around the deadline but whatever.
Just once it would be nice to not give up a SHG or even a threat of giving one up, shrug. They were +1 on special teams tonight shrugWho's really melting down? it’s a culmination of season long frustration (actually year long considering the collapse last year)Meltdown maybe too strong of word. Reaction is still surprising though.
It started with choking away a lead to a minor league level Chicago team in game one. There's a longgggggg line of wishes for this season. Most of them involve not coughing up so many late leads.Wish we didn't have that little pouty stretch around the deadline but whatever.
