It's just so goddamn tiring to read every thread.

Pens are winning? People complain that they haven't played like this all year or complain about a collapse that hasn't even occurred yet.

Pens lose? People complain that the team sucks, is boring, and watching games is a waste of time.

I'm not saying everything is sunshine and roses, nor am I trying to gatekeep conversation. Far from it. But holy ****, I actually question at points why some of you watch games, because you seem absolutely miserable doing so.

It's just absolutely tiring to read for people who want to enjoy watching hockey regardless of outcome. If I wanted this much salt, I'd hop over to LGP.

Just need to vent. It's **** depressing to be in these GDT threads looking for actual discussion.

I get it. In my case, it's largely the frustration of the results from a roster whose talent should, at least in my estimation, be better. With all the basketball going on today, the only reason I tuned in was more for MacKinnon and company and because Sid often elevates his play against his buddy. I was more surprised at being up 4-0 than I was that they blew that lead and lost.

And I'll gladly take my lumps for that post given the result, but like... yeah. It's not fun to be here during game days regardless of how the team is performing that day.

being surprised at how annoyed people are at this team is funny. Not sure what you’re expecting when the team is severely underperforming, particularly the power play, considering who is on it and how it’s one of the worst in franchise history. Pens fans knew the end would come at some point but we’ve been a car crash for the last calendar year and at times it’s truly embarrassing (like blowing a game against the dreadful Blackhawks)


here’s a little spoiler alert: people are gonna be mad until the end of the season. So I’d recommend not coming into these threads if you don’t want to deal with negativity. Because the team is looking the worst it’s looked in 20 years

I make an effort to not post in the GDT since I’ve been negative about this team for a couple months now.

It helps not watching the game and just following the box score and just doing other things.
