I still don’t understand why the staff has never thought about going with Sid, Ek, Geno, Letang, and Jake (Bunting) on the 1st unit. Letang in the Kessel spot just makes way too much sense to me

This isn't a "gotcha" because our PP is fundamentally bad.

That exact combination was tried for over 12 minutes (6+ power plays) and generated: You guessed it...0 goals. (And "narrowly" outshot opponents 11 to 4 in that time)

Bunting has not been tried in that combination.

That combination of players (without Letang) played for over 150 minutes this year and generated: 17 power play goals (2 against)

We have 33 power play goals this season.

Yea I mean six power plays ain’t enough. And more importantly, I don’t remember any semblance of the setup putting Letang in the right spot to use his RHS.
