ugh

at this point a win would feel shallow as we're unlikely to make the playoffs so I am conflicted

Keep losing. Let Sid get some meaningless points or what not, but keep losing.

Sid is the only player that scores anyhow.

I hope we win out. There's absolutely no conflict at all. The Alberta set kills the era. I understand.

Let's beat Columbus and get onto the next. **** this ***** ****...

Ok sorry...keep losing, let sid get some meaningless points, and bring up some young guys from WBS and give them a shot. Bench Carter...Harkins looks like he might be injured same, Acciari is out. I don't want any of those slugs playing minutes the rest of the season. Bring up the young guys once Jake is gone and you have cap space or whatever and let them play the rest of the season.

It's time for some auditions to see if there is anything of value at all in WBS (Poulin etc).

I don't begrudge anyone for wanting to watch. I won't post during the actual game just to be negative. Not my thing.

For me there is no ride to enjoy other than seeing what we get for Jake and if there is anyone worth a damn in WBS the rest of the year. Oh and Sid racking up some points I guess.

I understand the frustration and the fall from grace and all that. But the Penguins are my favorite team, so they're always must watch television...it doesn't even cross my mind to go a different direction than that.

Winning out would be the most hilarious outcome.

Generally speaking, I often root for the most hilarious outcome. Since I’ll never root for my team to lose, this works for me. It’s so boring and tiring to always be a realist.

LFG.

It feels as if a lot of people are surprised this was going to happen? No player can gracefully exit this league at their prime, let alone 4 if we're counting EK.

Sid might truly be the outlier, and that's because he's near being a top 5 all time player.

I hope we win out, yeah. But we're more likely to lose out than win out at this point

Poulin is not injured right? Why not bring him up?

Poulin is not injured right? Why not bring him up?

Why only bring him up for 4th line minutes when he can continue getting 1st line minutes in WBS?

I feel like you only bring him up if there's a slot on the 3rd or higher

He has only played two games (a couple days ago) after being out for a month. Thrusting him into his fourth career NHL game isn't optimal. I think he'll get a look before the year is out though...

The best shooter on the Jackets - Kirill Marchenko - is a healthy scratch tonight. So, they're breaking up their all Russian line...
