Feels like the struggling has also coincided with the bottom 6 no longer providing scoring.
Last night: Graves (Malkin's line) and Guentzel
Kraken: Sid x2, DOC (Malkin line)
Canes: Rust (Sid line) and Guentzel
Canucks: Sid x2, Pettersson (Harkins A)
Flyers: Malkin, Rude Beetle (Rust A), Karlsson (Carter line), Rakell PPG
Sabres: Rakell PPG
You have to go back to the Bruins game to find the last time the bottom 6 actually scored a goal (Carter and Eller). I'm not saying they need to score every game, but a little more from them would help a lot in these close games (in addition to the PP).

Meh, it would have been nice to get at least one point there, considering they had the lead going into the 3rd, but it is what it is.

The up and down nature overall. A game like last night (or any of the other ones up there) look a lot different if the bottom 6 helps out a little.
We're also in the bottom of the league in finishing chances, and a lot of the finishing struggles are why we're are where we are in the standings.
