Trip just wants the Pens to fire Sullivan so he can say he was right all along.

It’s not axe grinding at all, and I don’t want to be proven right. I just can’t really understand how we look at Sullivan and think he hasn’t coached an underperforming team for 5 years now. He’s the second most tenured coach in the NHL. It’s not like the guy hasn’t had the time to fix things. This is truly 5 years of underperforming teams but for some reason he gets a pass.

I’m not even saying he’s not a good coach. I think he’s a good coach for sure. But as we see across the league, NHL coaches have shorter lifespans than any coaches across major sports. We are almost assuredly missing the playoffs and wasting a vintage crosby season

I'm not that worried about this game honestly. They happen to every team. Not ideal that it's happened to us 3 or 4 games this year but meh

This. They are an average team with aging stars that has a slim chance to make the playoffs. If they do they will get trounced in round 1.
