Better the last couple shifts...

I’m wondering how they are still so many Sullivan defenders at this point.
Because up until the team's last game or 3, the powerplay was their only issue. They've been consistently outchancing teams at 5 on 5.
Or does none of the credit go to the coach when those things work?

but the PP is so bad, in relation to who we have on it, that it’s losing us games. so, not reallyI’m wondering how they are still so many Sullivan defenders at this point.

For the past four years, I’ve heard about how the pens “were so good, other than x”I’m wondering how they are still so many Sullivan defenders at this point.

It was goaltending then depth now the PP.
The team continues to underachieve under Sullivan. And this feels like Johnston era

This team stinks.

And Reirden is responsible for the PP, per Sullivan, so...but the PP is so bad, in relation to who we have on it, that it’s losing us games. so, not reallyI’m wondering how they are still so many Sullivan defenders at this point.

Didn't realize it was Sullivan's responsibility to stop the puck.
Guess we should blame Sully for that turnover to the Isles in OT instead of Jarry...
Look, all I'm saying is coaches get none of the credit when things are going well and all of the blame when they aren't. Just think critically instead of blaming the coach for everything.
And before you say it, I'm not pretending everything is sunshine and roses, but it's lazy to blame the coach for things out of his control (the PP, the goaltending, etc).

Sullivan is the head coach. Any inefficiency in the tactics are his responsibility; one way or anotherAnd Reirden is responsible for the PP, per Sullivan, so...but the PP is so bad, in relation to who we have on it, that it’s losing us games. so, not reallyI’m wondering how they are still so many Sullivan defenders at this point.

please god at this point I don’t even care if we come back. I just want a PP goal
GDT #25: Pens @ Bolts
Didn't realize it has been 30 PPs without a goal, so basically an entire game with a man advantage and no goals, lol
GDT #25: Pens @ Bolts
Changes must be made, and that doesn't necessarily mean firing the head coach. But doing nothing at this point is unacceptable.

When have things gone well? They’ve played like 8 complete games in the past 16 months. The team has continually underachieved, ****, since they lost to the caps in the playoffs. For the past four years, I’ve heard about how the pens “were so good, other than x”I’m wondering how they are still so many Sullivan defenders at this point.

Sullivan is the second most tenured coach in the NHL and hasn’t one a playoff series in what, 5 years?
GDT #25: Pens @ Bolts
Well, we said we never wanted to hear "PPG for PGH" again.... We just didn't want it to occur because they never scored one again.

I honestly don't know how Reirden still has a job at this point. When it's time to blame Sully I will. You can tell because I'm blaming Reirden right now and have been for weeks haha
