Dubas needs to start looking at the big picture here. Sullivan hasn’t show the ability to get the most out of his team in years now. I don’t care how shitty the fourth line is. This team should be a playoff team and it’s not and he has no answers the fix it

The splitting up of the PP and putting minor leaguers out there is laughable. It’s clear to me after that Sullivan doesn’t know what to do anymore

Well, Kyle Dubas for one clearly believes it is. Otherwise he doesn’t take this job in the first place and he doesn’t trade for Erik Karlsson

I’ve never seen Acciari this invisible. He’s not great or anything but you usually notice him on the ice. With our team he is like the second coming of McGinn. Did he forget how to forecheck and hit or is he being told to play a different style than he’s used to? He had some Tanev in his game on his other teams. I was happy to add his element to the roster but most nights he’s disappointingly quiet.

Big Z is fine, IMO.

We are slow and soft

To your point, they are soft in the sense that they are not physical, but it's more than that. They don't like to go to the high traffic areas or do the necessary board work to generate a sustained attack. Given their lack of shooters/snipers, this is a problem.

Yeah I thought the bottom 6 was fine. Not great, but fine. They even got a big goal from Eller.

It was Malkin, Letang, and Karlsson who yakked up the lead with turnovers and terrible defensive zone play. Guentzel also had a glaring turnover that led to the third goal.
