yeah but will the stitches be right where the helmet line is therefore benching him for at least a week?
I once got hit with a puck while scorekeeping (the only glass in the box was directly in front of the clock console) and had to get 5 stitches in my head 4 days before a big tourney in Brampton, Ontario. I was able to get my helmet on and off but had to be really careful and that was just above my forehead.

Hopefully the cut is an indication that his head moved within the mask and not with the mask. So I don’t think his head snapped as bad as it looked.

I would be interested to know our record on these swings over the last 15 years. Feels like they are always get right games.
