Good news there about the acquisition , since I moved to Franklin county from the Lehigh Valley now I can watch the Penguins on Comcast Mid Atlantic ch 843, AT&T SPORTSNET.

Enjoy it for a few months. It’s going away at the end of 2023 and there hasn’t been any news about a replacement yet.

Ok, but I would think that with the Pirates and Penguins fans around here that Comcast would find another network out of Pittsburgh to broadcast games. Unless there is some sort of contract dispute or some big money involved.

Nobody is sure where the rights will go. Assumption is FSG will step in and rebrand it NESN Pittsburgh or something but who knows.

Vegas is airing all their games on over the air TV. I saw something about the Pgh CW affiliate leaving that network so that could be an option.

Ok. And I can get all the Capitals games but I am not interested. When I left the Lehigh Valley about ten miles north of Allentown, I lost my ability to get the Flyer’s games as that was Comcast East and this is Comcast Mid Atlantic. For some reason they still block out all their games here but they will be bad this year, as well as all Phillies games blocked out on the MLB network.
