Don’t forget the lifeless start. That was a huge factor. Go down 3-0 and play like it’s a scrimmage and you deserve whatever happens. Pens came out tonight in period 1 like we clinched a playoff berth against the Caps.

How many games, especially in the last 2 months, have we said this -- the difference in this game is that the other team's goalie made the saves he needed to when ours couldn't. They've put 40 on net in each of the last 5 games and won 2 of them, and 1 that they nearly choked on.

Once again, here we are at the end of a season, critical games hang in the balance, and the same ******* goalie duo is tanking their season.

“the Pens net is empty” is something you can say almost every time DeSmith moves from one side of the crease to the other.

So at the end of the day they had a **** lifeless start...tied up the game then lost anyways.

Would have rather just got blown out then teased with the comeback.

Either way two points they needed they didn't get.

I think this game has helped me to accept that we’re just not going to make the playoffs. It’s going to come down to that last game of the year against *checks schedule* COLUMBUS and they’re going to blow it.
