Might be time to stop worrying about catching the Rags and start worrying about the Caps and Panthers

That Malkin pass to Letang at the blueline with goalie pulled just made no sense. Even if it’s successfully completed what does it accomplish?

If they lose again Saturday...things get really really dicey.

Trending downward in any event.

Their record against teams with better records them in the East division is abysmal. Honestly, there's really not much to like about this team save for the top six. Past that, all a hope and prayer.

Not a great night from the guys in white. Rags seemed to be in control the whole game, even when it was tied.

P.O. ain't it...

These are the games where they need someone, anyone from the bottom six to actually do something offensively.

If Petry is out for any period of time they are done.

Well the assumption is he’s concussed. So he’s gonna be out at the very least a few games I would assume

The fact that he didn’t return probably means concussion so probably out 1-2 weeks at least.

If he went to the locker room and cleared the concussion protocol he likely would have been back on the ice.

We could have SOLD at the deadline and probably be in the same situation we are in right now. Minus Zucker of course, which would have been a huge blow, but we might have received quite a haul for him.

To be fair, Carter has probably been out scored 22-3 with every defenseman

What would we have gotten for Zucker? Two 2nd round picks? Sweet.

I bet they would have gotten a First plus had they seriously traded Zucker.

I didn't think at first there was anything wrong with the kreider play on dumo but watching it again, man that's tough.

Agreed, but I would have wanted young NHL players/prospects instead of the picks. Happy to have Zucker though, he’s the heartbeat of the team most nights.

Don’t look now but the Panthers are only 3 points behind with the same games played.

I wouldn’t feel so bad about tonight if it weren’t for the train wreck in Montreal. I don’t think I’ll ever understand what happened there.

I expected the NYR to come out tough at home.

Next 48 hours are big. LFGP.

Go Flyers (yes, you heard me) and Blues tomorrow, Devils and Sharks on Saturday.

How many times can Sullivan say this about urgency before people start questioning why his teams aren't locked in at the start?

As a friend used to say after a bad loss, pitiful.

I just realized the Rangers played a totally clean game. No penalties at all. Impressive.
