5 goals on 20 shots will do that
Also, I thought it was funny that the first shift Carter had all period, he was stuck in his own zone the entire shift

**** you pens

Well, we dominated the game for the most part. Need a goalie to make a save once in a while. Been the story for 2 years now.

What does Carter have on the Pens front office?
GDT #67: Pens vs Canadiens
Lately it feels like the Pens just dominate for long stretches at even strength, and then the puck gets around their net for one play and BANG, it's in, just like that. So frustrating.

Jarry gave up 4 on 7 shots. He sucked. Again.

Sometimes the better team loses. Not much more to say about it. They got pretty lucky. We had the puck the whole game

Yup. We played well enough to win. Unlucky and our goalies weren’t good enough againSometimes the better team loses. Not much more to say about it. They got pretty lucky. We had the puck the whole game

How the **** do you lose to a team and allow 6 goals after they just got shellacked on home ice the night before? Inexcusable.
Also speaks to the mystical hold that Montreal seems to hold over this franchise.

It’s still fireable that Hextall hasn’t upgraded the goalie situation. Again, if he did almost anything to upgrade, the Pens are probably ahead of the Rangers right now

Carter was a -4 with only 8:28 of ice time against one of the worst teams in the league.

That's a crazy bad loss...Jarry had given up 4 on 7 or whatever, but I'm actually more unhappy with the DeSmith goal, he wasn't even close and that wasn't exactly a post and in shot or a good shooter...
Mike Johnson on the Habs broadcast also thought that...

I’m assuming it was to rest Rakell so he could be on when they pulled the goalie. But that makes no sense either because Zucker should’ve been out there with granlund centeringwhy is he out there with under 2 to play

These are losses that you look back on when you miss the playoffs.
