Definitely don't have the space to fit his full contract for just a pick.

One would hope this bumps Carter off the 3rd but maybe it's also because Poehling might be out longer term?

I mean I guess he can't be worse than the ghost of Jeff Carter at this point? I still don't quite understand it. Looking at his contract on capfriendly he has an AAV of 2.05 mil which I'm guessing is prorated, and has a 5 team NTC which I'm assuming the Pens aren't on?

Like it's not 2017 anymore...oh well. Guess we will see if it's true first.

At 50% retention all we'd have to do is send caggiula down to make it work.

I don't hate him. I just don't understand what a player that is 5 years older than when he last played here brings at this point? Like I said maybe by default he's better than Carter at this point?

He left a cup winning team because he didn't like the team and thought he should be a 2C. Now he's coming back to a watered down version of that team as, what, a 4C? After failing at three other teams he's back in this locker room. Yuuuuck.
