I just asked a Blackhawks friend -- 'not sure what's worse, missing the playoffs entirely or a guaranteed first round exit'. I'd say missing completely only because at least by being in the tournament, you have a chance...as miniscule as it would be with this group.

It doesn’t matter who the Isles have out as long as Sorokin, Nelson, and Lee are still in.

P. S. It’s worth nada, but I’ll always prefer to make the playoffs over not.
