I feel like desmith is playing uncommonly deep in his net. I thought he should have taken away the pass on the first goal but was too deep to do so @meow to confirm.

Where are you supposed to be when the puck is behind the net? Back so that you can push out to the side the puck goes?

Yeah you need to have a tight seal to the post with your stick in a spot to break up something. For movement, typically a two-foot C-cut because when you started to pull back-in, you can butterfly down real hard because you have momentum moving forward and down.
