Again, that's pretty much what I would expect from a backup. Given his recent form I'm surprised it's not worse.

I’m still pissed Sully decided to put malkin out on the ice at the end of the PL that Poehling scored on.
They get pinned in the zone, ice the puck, then malkin loses the faceoff and they eventually gets scored on

Meh. Here are the #2s in our division. Understanding GAA is a team stat, the only worse ones as of this moment are Felix Sandstorm who I'm pretty sure got sent away and merzlikins who is having an historically bad year.Again, that's pretty much what I would expect from a backup. Given his recent form I'm surprised it's not worse.
Swayman 1102min 2.34
Halak 772min 2.56
Lindgren 1171min 2.66
Varlamov 944min 2.67
Blackwood 728min 3.21
Desmith 1253min 3.35
Sandstorm 555min 3.45
Merzlikins 1114min 4.42

I expect a backup to be good, just not as consistently so as a starter. CDS is sinking the team right now.

I'm not sure why they haven't given Tokarski a look at least one of the last few games. Like in Washington
