while still one of the better players in the game 22/23 sid looks like he's aging out

Amazing how they can't win a faceoff on the power play in order to keep possession.

The PP try’s to pass the puck into the net. It’s annoying. Make them watch some of the other top PPs in the league and show them the value in just ripping shots from everywhere and getting a rebound. Coaching staff could be like “if you pass up a shot you’re getting yanked”. What’s the harm in that?

Last night Bourque said on the radio that he asked Todd Reirden why nothing was changing on the PP. Todd told him that they are instituting new plays on the pp but the players are refusing to change things up in game.

If that's the case, the coaching staff has no control.

I'd be interested in knowing what new plays Reirden is instituting that the players refuse to work with. Obviously the "Pass the puck until it ricochets off a defender into the net" PP isn't working.
