They need to get back to basics offensively. Rust in the first period has a chance to wire one on net coming down the wing and instead wheels behind the net, throws the puck behind his back to start a breakout for the other team

Too many players on this team want to make the pretty play. Just look at that play Geno tried to make to Sid with the puck 15 ft from Andersen. With the exception of Zucker and maybe Guentzel, there really isn't anyone who wants to do any dirty work to get the puck to the net and then start digging away at it.
