I thought they looked pretty solid at even strength. They just couldn’t get the PP sorted out and that ultimately killed them.

Remember when it was the day before Thanksgiving and all the yinzers came aht for a holiday game vs Calgary and the crowd was super crazy andi they won and everything was awesome?

0/9 on the powerplay is beyond awful. Like it's hard to be that bad in one game.

With 58 out, they lost a lot in terms of zone entry. They really lack an effective RH shot too with Petry also out. Still, if they don't allow that shorthanded goal, they might have won the game. Those are back breakers.

Missing big chunks of time is the Letang experience. I'm sure it'll improve with age.

Zone entry didn't seem like a problem at all tbh. Lots of PP zone time but every shot attempt was a wrister through traffic playing for a tip and rebound
