For sure. The thing is is that, statistically, Igor is gonna get us in one of these...I thought it would have been last night, but we have to be ready to either grind through a tight one or be ready to respond in a game 6 scenario...

We haven't let a lot of negatives pile up on each other in the series. We haven't compounded problems. We gotta stay with it and hope we get some reinforcements along the way...

Man, first dates over Penguins playoff games...big minus there. Like, first dates can happen 345 other days a year without question...I never get people...
Consider the track record. Gotta get it when you can. ;)

To be fair, I was a little on the tipsy side when I typed that...but I mean, I really enjoy finding out that I have interlocking genitals with an attractive lady...believe you me. But, it is completely unthinkable to be going after that during a Penguins playoff game. It's not like you get assigned a random date to try to penetrate flaps, it's not ****** jury duty. You're picking these dates...that's unconscionable to me. I'm actually shaking my head while typing this...I'm sorry, that just stinks.

This series is hardly a goaltender debacle. Rangers could have peak Hank and Penguins have last year Jarry and good chance it's at worst 2-2 with the Penguins dominating the series.

That said, there have been a few Rangers goals where I said to myself, Jarry would have had that one most likely. And a few Igor GA that were head scratchers. But mostly it's the Pens getting huge depth scoring along with a hot PP (hehe) and Crosby lighting it up, and NY looking more like the Rescue Rangers out there.

Hey, our weenie is in a funk. Give the kid a break. There will be more hockey, but will there be more hooch? You never know.

Besides, maybe he was going for the hat trick. Date, back to the apartment, turn on the game and have a little sexy time.

You had me until you used Rescue Rangers as a negative.

I dont think he's moving around any flaps on Monday night date duty. Monday date duty is like... our baseball team is losing by 9, lets put the Rule 5 pick in to get some experience.

If he gets upgraded to Thursday or later, maybe.

What if ‘going after that during a Penguins playoff game’ is a direct result of said playoff game? Asking for a friend whose disappointment over a 1-0 game 7 loss to Tampa was tempered afterwards.

Sid has 8 takeaways in 4 games this series.

That is an insane stat, especially for a forward. Sid has never before even averaged 1 takeaway per game. And he's at 56% faceoffs.

He is taking a wrecking ball to the Rags.

That's afterwards. Of course that's fine. In fact, that should be promoted.

I've never been happy to be so wrong as far as the chances this team had in the first round as I am right now. Well I'll even be happier when they wrap up the series.

I said it would take going super human and carrying this team on his back...and well he has (along with Jake and some timely secondary scoring).

The score was 2-1 at this point. It's not like they've given up down 6-2 - it's still a game

And I don't remember who's goal it was, Heinen maybe, where he scored and did the Geno jump into the boards celly right in front of those two Rags fans in your pic. It was great.

If you had asked me which Pen did that, my first three guesses would have been Friedman. He is definitely that guy.

I'm going to really hate him in X years when the capitals sign him for way too much money and term. :pop:

The legend grows.

So you are saying Domingue over Jarry ;)

Sid is playing really well in this series. Trying to get higher on the GOAT list :)

That was Friedman on his goal
IMHO he was celebrating the way he should on his 1st ever playff goal by including Rags fans in the celebration fest. :D
