Letang, Crosby, Matheson, Guentzel really great games tonight, eh?
28 and 6 could have easily quit...they hung in.

Various levels of cooling down….flipped over to Memphis/Golden State then ease into Calgary/Dallas. Heart rate slowly getting back to normal.

Yeah, I don't need a 3 am game. But I can do one easily without any sort of issue. I mean, hell, I'm conditioned for this when I was working in the office (1 or 2 am end times, 6:30 am wake ups) for weeks until the playoffs ended...so this is a reverse dunk for me haha

So apparently CDS is being evaluated for an injury. Guess it was too much to hope for dehydration.

Wow what a win. So relieving to see the team settle down and play in control after the first period which conjured up nightmares of playoffs past. That second period was legendary.
Impressed by nearly everyone. Except maybe Erid who was out there playing like some spicy pork and broccoli

I watched the first period and then left for my beer league playoff game (we lost but have one more shot next tuesday) so I listened to the 2nd period on my way to the rink. one of my teammates is a BIG Rangers fan (and I think a blogger) and he checked his phone right before leaving the locker room and was giddy because he thought the Rags had scored goal #4. I checked my phone right before taking the ice was confused that it still said 3-3 at the end of the 3rd. I delighted in telling him during warmups that the goal had been waved off.
we were both checking our phones during our intermissions. I was about 3/4 of the way home when Geno ended it.
