Probably should have just iced it and regrouped. Turned it over like 7 times in 20 seconds.

Without looking at TOI stats it seems like we’ve had the same 4 or 5 forwards on the ice all game.

That's too many men ten minutes ago. But you know, NHL

No new injuries today. Probably all that matters.

That sucked. 2 minutes, 2 goals and that's all it took.

Been that way ever since he came over. Only place he's a factor is in the training room.

So Sully says they need to play with effort, execution and attitude....none of which is on the ice at the moment.
An afternoon Pens game….my expectations are extremely low. I expect the energy and emotion of a preseason game.
Coming into this game, the Pens were 8-4 this year in afternoon games.

it did but at the same time, CDS tightened up. he was absolutely awful the first few minutes. overplaying everything. he made some stellar saves later in the game. I was afraid this would be a blowout and it wasn't. that's a positive to take away.

Yeah I agree. I can't help but think how it would have been had they started the game playing they way they did after the 2nd goal.
