Even the most optimistic fan would say winning 1 playoff series would be our peak this year, right? Anything more than that would really shock me. Certainly don’t see any scenario where they roll off 3 or 4 series wins in a row. My expectations are pretty low. There are just too many guys bringing nothing to the table.

A Penguins/Rangers series would be boring. I think a Penguins/Panthers series would be exciting and high scoring.

I’d enjoy that. I like playing new opponents in the playoffs. Seen enough Islanders, Rangers, Caps, etc

Agree, it's what I don't like about the current playoff format. I get the theory that it fosters rivalries but tired of seeing the same teams all the time.

It doesn't foster rivalries because what made those Pens Flyers or Pens Caps matchups so fun is that they happened organically and could come at any point in the conference playoffs. Man I hate this format.

I really see no reason for divisions anymore. East and West. Or Wales and Campbell. Make it happen

It wouldn't even impact the schedule at this point. You only play 5 teams 4x these days.
