If there weren’t people underneath it, I would plead for someone to snip the cables of that skycam. Directors really want to make it tough to follow the game and give their viewers nausea.

I like them too with the exception of the overhead on the PP. It's bad enough watching it from the on-ice cameras but then, IMHO, it's even more frustrating watching it while seeing whole ice coverage.

I think the overhead pp cam has been my favorite non traditional camera yet. You can really see how much room there is in the zone. I think it's good stuff

NHL refs man. Can't negate Washington's first PP when we already had two

If you're so willing, @meow can you talk about how you dealt with players in front of you as a screen and in your crease...there's guys that are there, and then there are guys who are making it actually tough for you to see...how'd you deal with it? What effect did it have on your game?

Sure. I want to give you the generic answer of "what it takes" but I know that's not what you are looking for. It's manly situational. I'm not a overly tall guy at 5'10" so looking over guys wasn't an option most of the time. I had a really good skill of being able to make saves with my hands around guys. So if I'm looking around a guy leaning to my blocker side, I was able to glove a puck that went to my catcher side around the guy. That really helped me because I knew I was good at that and was comfortable doing it. I was also a good skater and played aggressive, so I could get my position established early. Then lots of touching that guy with my blocker to let him know that I know where he is. Refs notice that sort of thing and help you out with contact. I rarely hacked at guys unless there was a guy famous for digging at goalies. Then they'd get some lumber. I think it is really important for young goalies to learn to not get rattled by traffic and guys in front. It's a hazard of the job. Deal with it. That answer your question?
