I've always been a DeSmith fan and felt that he was a surprisingly reliable backup goalie ... but he'd be on really thin ice if I were the GM. I don't see the Pens having any room left to see if he might get straightened out.

Could Domingue be any worse? DeSmith seemed like he was developing into a fine backup but this season has been really awful.
