Their goalie wears #19. The **** is that?
Reminds me of a question I've never seen answered. I know the "traditional" goalie numbers are 1 and 30, but I've never seen any explanation of why. Did some legendary goalies way back when wear those numbers or something? Anyone know?

They all have bad numbers. Koskinen, Smitty, and Skinner...
I can live with 41. The other 2 can get ****

Huge kills to keep us in the game. If we fall behind by 2 I don’t like our chances.

Roster numbers were determined by position on roster. Goalies were 1. D-men were generally next (Harvey, Shore, Orr). Then forwards. When backup goalies became emergency guys and then became required in 1965, many of them were tacked on to the end to the line. In some instances because numbers were retired.

I know they have some injuries, but it's evident why this oilers team flames out in the playoffs

They have Mikko koskinen and 3 rookie defensemen. Plus Tyson barrie.

True…but we have 11 goals in our last 6 games. We can’t really score.

that period was annoying. felt like we controlled most of the flow but Danger's lack of positioning burned us twice.
