It’s not too early to think this team should be a serious seller at the deadline. The division is absolutely stacked and this team just isn’t good enough

Just a Hagelin and Schultz goal away from the former Penguins 4-bagger. It's nice that we make Sheary look more competent when he plays against the Pens. He doesn't fall down as much anymore.

I'm inclined to agree.

Pens stock is on the precipice of a crash right now. Many of the teams in the division are trending up with very bright futures imo the next 5+ years. This team's best case scenario is a second wild card or whatever the last seed is in this dumb playoff.

They can't afford to be content with that for years. The time to start building the cupboard for the core's departure is now. That's my biggest fear about keeping all if them until retirement. The execs will feel the pressure to build a contending team, even if the ceiling is the semis at best.

We’ve watched losing hockey before, but at least there was some entertainment value. This team is beyond bland. Typically must watch rivalry game here and I’m spending it staring at my iPad…..looking up when the announcer raises his voice.

Not sure that Wilson goal is gonna count. I think on a PP you have to complete 7 passes at the blue line before taking a shot on net or else it’s no goal.
