Weird, plays fine on my phone, but if I try and cast to my tv, it fails.

I subscribed to ESPN+ to test it out, and just like I saw with the ESPN app in general, it’s **** horrible. Second rate stream. Gonna just go back to Center Ice through FiOS, because this is just sad.

So we got the digital ad in the slot AND the digital ad on the glass behind the net AND a digital ad on the glass just inside the zone? Not to mention the two behind the goal line. And the boards. And the four on the ice in the neutral zone.

I know, I know, some people don’t care about ads. I’m just saying it’s a lot of visual noise.

They didn't want to call goaltender interference so that was the alternative. And since we had one more PP than them at that point that's how it works

For me, the ESPN+ stream for ATT is way better than the ESPN+ stream was for the TB game. I'm using a ShieldTV for streaming.

The home and away feeds are the same for me. Validated this with my upstairs TV and my phone to rule out it being the one TV/app. It’s acceptable, but I expected better from a company like ESPN. The only advantage this has over Center Ice is the fact that you can select either home or away feed - though I’m not sure if that’s normal/applies to all games.

Oh, it’s definitely not broadcasting in 1080, that’s for damn sure. I formally invite you over to my place to see what a decent HD picture looks like.

Basically nobody broadcasts in 1080p. Nearly everything save for PPV and a handful of sports is 720. Maybe you’ll get 1080i here and there but not often.

Getting sidetracked here, this isn’t the same as broadcasting to a cable provider. A large number of HD channels on FiOS are 1080 now.
