If McCann gets traded that has to be some kind of record. 4 teams in less than a week. Dude is getting passed around like a joint at a Grateful Dead concert.

I feel like Kris Beech got claimed off of waivers three times in two weeks or something some years ago...I'm unwilling to look up my thought though for confirmation...but that's one that immediately came to mind...

I think Mark Arcobello had a 15 minute stop in the burgh during a two week waiver tour a couple years back

I seem to remember a player being traded three times in a matter of days a few years ago, but I can't think of who it was.

I'm probably wrong, but some players were definitely traded twice on the same day, including Mark Streit and of course Mike Sillinger.

On January 10, 2008, Beech was claimed off waivers from Columbus by the Vancouver Canucks.[3] However, on January 23, 2008, after just four games with the Canucks in which he recorded one goal and one assist, Beech was subsequently placed on waivers and claimed by the Washington Capitals.[4] Before playing a single game with Washington, Beech was once again placed on waivers, which led to him being re-acquired by the Pittsburgh Penguins, Beech's fourth team in the month of January.[5]
During the 2014–15 season, on December 29, 2014, the Oilers traded Arcobello to the Nashville Predators in exchange for Derek Roy.[5] Arcobello scored in his Predators debut against the Los Angeles Kings on January 3. However, after four games, Nashville placed him on waivers. The injury-depleted Pittsburgh Penguins claimed him on January 14, 2015.[6] After 10 games, the Penguins placed him on waivers. The Arizona Coyotes claimed him on February 11, becoming his fourth NHL team of the season.[7] Arcobello is the third player in NHL history, following Dennis O'Brien and Dave McLlwain, and preceding Jussi Jokinen, to play on four teams in a single season.
Well these are all well and good, I think McCann not playing for three of his four teams would be even more impressive.

The St. Louis Blues sent Barry Gibbs to the Los Angeles Kings. The St. Louis Blues sent Terry Richardson to the New York Islanders.
