I’m gonna need an explanation on the cesspool play where all 10 skaters were sent to the penalty box. We need some ability to protect our goalie. The Isles started all of it and came out on top

It was all even as they were going to the box and then Guentzel whacked a guy with his stick.

They didn’t have any choice. Jake did a stupid.

The latter. He has been unreal in how well he is reading the Isles offense. He is jumping things that even I don't see from the upper deck here...him and 58 are ballin out...

By the way...am I the only one who noticed Zucker was making fun of Martin’s eyes being too close together when they were between benches?

Anyone? Goal scoring man rocket telling talentless mutant that he’s uggo, and really leaning in on it. It was funny.

I’m open to replacing Jake on Sid’s line...

The problem with Guentzel is that he's getting absolutely molested nearly every time he touches the puck, to the point of obstruction. It's really annoying to watch. Basically prison rules when Guentzel has it.

Absolutely agree that is part of the problem. Another game on Saturday where the Isles have last change and I could see it being beneficial for Jake’s confidence and well being to move him away from whatever gang of heathens they’re going to match up against Sid.

With what the Isles are doing, Sid’s line seems to be missing that Kunitz or Hornqvist style space maker. Don’t have a ton of flexibility with handedness and I don’t want to **** too much with what is working, but two immediate considerations are Carter to Sid’s LW with either McCann or Guentzel taking over 3C duties while the other stays at LW or we get really **** nuts and unleash Tanev on Sid’s LW, move Gaudreau to the fourth line, and end up with two lefties on the third line.

Or we could just leave everything as is.

Just swap 59 and 16 if you want for a bit...but honestly, I'm not messing with that line right now, the chemistry is too good...the next round won't be any easier anyhow, so he'll either be hurt like most guys on this team or he'll battle through and score...

Normally I don't like to harp on them too much, because they usually do a solid job and every team has a call go against them once in awhile - but tonight was exceptionally bad.
