Wasn’t Rodriguez actually playing well right before his injury? I thought I recalled that, but could be wrong. He looked real slow out there today, though I expected it.

I don't have a lot of time for him...his game is sloppy, lacks detail, he's not efficient...players like him have to offer some skill, pop gun skill like Sheary...or they have to get the mop and the shovel...he does neither...I assume this is his last year in the NHL without some sort of adaptation...

This is a player that I would be excited to get a 5th for...Hextall got a 3rd out of Rinaldo...and I feel like he netted a pick on Tye McGinn, a similar player, as well...go ahead Ronny Textall...

ERod’s spot should be a rotation of hungry AHL guys. No need to have all that lack of talent combined with a comfortable one-way contract.

I’ll echo the ERod dialogue. What do you do? Every NHLer needs a snap answer here. His is...? Fast, but not overly fast. Not physical. Not detailed. Not a center. Not a great penalty killer. Not courageous. Yeah he’s right handed, but like who cares when you literally bring nothing else.

I think TK is definitely the more successful of the two, but they have a lot of similarities in how they play, from what I see, and their downsides/detractions are pretty alike.

I'll also admit I came to this conclusion while drinking and watching E-Rod speed down the right and rip a slapper right into the goalie's crest earlier in the season.
