He means looking at players like Florida’s Patric Hornqvist.

Who said truculence isn’t entertaining? Also, don’t need to worry about entertaining when no one can get in the door.

Are you suggesting that playing with sandpaper wouldn't be entertaining?

UFC is orders of magnitude more entertaining than figure skating.

I think that you are confusing wet blanket trap hockey with doing more than skating fast and passing.

See my UFC vs figure skating reference.

Nothing that he said counters "entertaining" in the slightest.

Just give me AN identity. Theyre not physical, theyre not fast, they aren't an our-net-out team, they aren't run and gun, they aren't a zone time team, they aren't a fast break team, they aren't built on special teams.

The 09 team was known for scoring in bunches and locking it down in the third period.

The 16-17 teams could fly and would spend minutes at a time in the offensive zone.

The 21 team comes to games.

This is why their games are a chore to watch right now. They’re “blah”. Watching a penguin game right now is like watching baseball. There might be a 5 minute segment of fun/excitement but the rest of the game is a snoozer.
