Not used to scoreboard watching wire-to-wire in a season. Am I the only one doing that?
Go, Rangers.

That’s the worst part for me. The games are boring, regardless of outcome. Little or no offense, no fights, no hitting, no energy or passion. It’s like every game feels like a no contact scrimmage. I feel like I’m watching the news or something. This team is boring. So average and boring.

First game I didn't watch this year. Decided to rewatch Meatballs instead. #Winning

Just to drive the point home...we were the suckiest bunch of sucks whoever sucked last night...
We may have had, what, four scoring chances in the game...? One of which was Ceci's goal from the mid-slot...
Boston's good, I get that. Our defense is maligned, I get that. But I keep going back to this, this is a bad roster...and then what's more is that it's a pretty open source team...we're not particularly offensive, we're certainly not defensive...I don't know what our gameplan is...there's a lot of regroup with the D plays, the intent is possession, I see there's some overlap support on chips and area passes that we've seen in years passed...but it looks like we're down a gamebreaker, two if you count Kessel...Guentzel's coming off of a shoulder injury, which is always bad news...and the wildcard, Jarry, has been tough to hit this year, even adjusting for environment...
1/7th of the season is gone...that's 12 games in a normal season, that's the end of October basically. You have about another 6-10 games to figure out what kind of team you're gonna be, that's 4 to 7 on the prorated scale we're working with...after that, we're gonna have a new GM, so he's probably gonna take some time to get acclimated to what he has...so that'll extend that window, though artificially...I don't want to "panic" or anything because we are, somehow, 4-3-1...but you're gonna have to be real sharp about what you want to be and what your weaknesses are/what's stopping you from getting there...

If I didn't know any better, I'd say this is a team (with the stars in particular) playing to get their coach fired.

I actually think this is a decent team if the D was healthy

The problem with that is with a new GM still likely weeks away, and like Mikey said, the new GM would likely wait a couple weeks before really doing anything. If I didn't know any better, I'd say this is a team (with the stars in particular) playing to get their coach fired.
So any coaching change would minimum be 4 weeks away, maybe 6. At that point, it’s basically a lost season
