Against a different team, Wilson would’ve had two or three players in his face after running into the goalie.

Considering that like 75% of all goals scored are garbage goals that bounce off a bunch of crap before going into the net, I don’t understand why the Pens don’t throw more pucks to the crease.
When a guy is in danger, he throws it into the corner boards. Why not throw it to the crease instead? Especially on the PP.

Possession is important on a PP and throwing it at the crease is a 50/50 shot of retrieving the puck from your own zone in ten seconds
