This is a weird year, looking at this team/season solely as a form of entertainment or a distraction with almost no expectations. Only 50 games, COVID will disrupt teams, weird divisions, no fans. At some point the team needs to sell at the deadline and recoup some picks/prospects. If it’s this year, I’m OK with that.

Same. You can see the potential with this team. I’m not trying to call out Jarry, but once he settles in and we aren’t trying to come back from 2, 3 down all the time, we should have different outcomes. We’re still only two games in.

Same. You can see the potential with this team. I’m not trying to call out Jarry, but once he settles in and we aren’t trying to come back from 2, 3 down all the time, we should have different outcomes. We’re still only two games in.
I’m torn. I see potential. Marino looks great. Crosby looks great. Zucker and Guentzal will pick it up. Matheson should improve as will Jarry
I just have this sinking feeling that Letang is really gonna drop off and Malkin is just uninterested/is in the process of dropping off.
If those two guys don’t play to their capability, it doesn’t matter the promise of the rest of the team, the Pens are ****.

Geno skated much better last night, but we should all be used to him having a slow start. Letang is making bad decisions too early (or right on time if you want to be more realistic). Get back to basics with him.

Hmm. Wasn't a wise play but it was soft contact and not damage inflicting. More of a drive-by elbow bump than a hit. I can see a fine, but anything beyond that seems extreme
Only saw it once so I could be wrong

I’d like to see that hit be suspended. It wasn’t bang bang. He knew what he was doing and had plenty of time to change his mind.
